Naruto Shippuden 3D The New Era for 3DS

Good news for any Naruto Shippuden gamers! 505 Games announced today that the first Nintendo 3DS game in the series has been set for release!Naruto Shippuden 3D: The New Era promises a high-kicking action game in glorious, portable 3D, in an all new story setting. Naruto fans will engage in a storyline based on the latest events of the manga and animated series. A new female ninja is also introduced, Malice. The mysterious Five Kages all make their first appearance in the video game world, with adventures that span nine different locations. New secret stages and items can be unlocked along the way also. A support cast of ten different characters can assist in the journey, three of them joining per chapter. This will allow for a more strategic approach to combat.

This is the latest video game action adventure in the long running and celebrated series, Naruto, and is presented for the very first time in 3D, with dynamic camera twists and turns taking full advantage of the new Nintendo hand-held hardware capabilities.

Naruto Shippuden 3D- The New Era on Nintendo 3DS will also have a “Sage Mode”, which incorporates the lead characters, and transforms Naruto into a more powerful version of himself once his special gauge is charged to its maximum. The game will use the 3DS’s special motion controls in situations to avoid certain attacks and during boss fights. Players can also redeem Sharingan codes to unlock in-game items and characters using the 3DS’s camera to reveal secret codes issued by 505 games.

Naruto Shippuden 3D- The New Era is exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS, published by 505 Games. A set date for release has not been issued, but will be sometime in 2011!
