A Whole New Way To Game With Onlive.com

What would it be like to have access to your favorite games, anywhere, anytime? OnLive.com has solved that problem.  What is Onlive.com you ask? Onlive is a new way to game, on your PC and TV. Think of “Cloud” for games.

OnLive is the most powerful game system in the world. No high-end hardware, no upgrades, no endless downloads, no discs, no recalls, no obsolescence,” said Steve Perlman, Founder and CEO of OnLive. “With OnLive, your video game experience is always state-of-the-art.”

“OnLive’s PlayPack gives subscribers an unlimited-play option for only $9.99/month—allowing them to play instantly on TVs via the OnLive Game System and on virtually any PC or Mac via a small browser download.”

The OnLive Game Service could possibly be the groundbreaking, on-demand video game platform service of the future next to renting a game via GameFly. The OnLive Game Service creates new way to play, watch, share and demo premium games from the world’s leading publishers.

At 12:01 AM PST March 29, 2011 Onlive will launch the first four Square Enix games in the Onlive PlayPack monthly subscription plan. Included in these games are Mini Ninjas, Tomb Raider: Legend, Hitman: Blood Money, and Just Cause.

Actually that pricing plan you wrote up is not correct. That’s the cost of the Playpack subscription (access to a library of games, up to 47 available so far). Free for one month then 9.99.

The Onlive membership itself is free, the only costs incurred are when you buy or rent a game.
