Uncharted 3 multiplayer beta trailer stays “hip” with dubstep
The Uncharted 3 multiplayer beta hits June 28th a few weeks after E3 2011 according to Arne Meyer (Naughty Dog Community Manager) on the US PlayStation Blog. Naughty Dog is diving headfirst into multiplayer and is calling Uncharted 3′s multiplayer a complete evolution? Really? We’ll see.
Recently at an invite only press event available only to extremely highly respected game journos, two maps from UC3′s multiplayer were playable called – The Airstrip and The Chateau. Both of which are complete rip offs from Counter-Strike 1.6. Joking.
Also, it looks like world renowned experts in the video game industry USA Today put out an “exclusive” look to UC3′s plans to Naughty Dog’s social media implementation because it worked SO WELL in Uncharted 2.
“Our goal for Facebook is to really make sure you can interact with your Facebook friends the way you interact with your PSN friends,” Balestra says. “You can talk to them (and) you can invite them to your party. You are going to see icons of people’s faces and their real names. So right away it is going to feel bigger.”
If you’ve enjoyed Uncharted 2′s multiplayer and co-op, it pretty much means you’re going to enjoy what Naughty Dog will be doing with Uncharted 3′s multiplayer. If shooting dudes in the third person while climbing to new heights is your thing, then cool. Read the full impressions and details on PlayStation Blog.
