A Return to PC Gaming: Bad Company 2 Highest Settings

Earlier this week during the rage of the PSN outage, I was steadily awaiting  the components for my new PC to arrive. I checked the doorstep about 20 times last Friday when everything arrived. My older current PC is a Pentium 4 3.0 ghz, Radeon 9800 Pro, with 4 gigs of RAM that used to beast in the days of Battlefield 2 and Desert Combat on PC.

However, later this year Battlefield 3 will be upon us, and I definitely want to be ready. While I didn’t blow all my money on the best and most expensive video card,  I settled for the NVIDIA GTX 560 ti. While I do wish I had money for the NVIDIA GTX 590, Battlefield 3 is still a ways off and with the current trends of technology, waiting is probabilistically better than spending all at once.

Here’s some test footage of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 captured at all max settings at 1080p compressed by YouTube to 720p. Still trying to find the best way of handling captured video from FRAPS, and any suggestions are welcome.

Expect more PC coverage later this year!
