E3 2011: Train, Fight and Fuse in My Monster Rancher

Working TitleIt has been quite some time since the last quality Monster Rancher title and the working titled My Monster Rancher might just be able to bring this franchise back. This is a simple tablet game that allows you to activate disks to create monsters, train them as you please, and then finally send them into battle. It is likely that other modes and options will become available in the later builds.

The only major complaint that I have at this time is that combat is very hands off. You can order your monster to be aggressive, balanced, or defensive then all you can do is watch the battle play out. Other than that this game has great possibilities due to the options and media contained within portable devices such as tablets and smart phones. While we do not currently know how disks are gathered it will likely be due to the other functions of portable media devices. While it may be some time before the game is complete, My Monster Rancher may very well be worth the wait.
